Moody Law is a boutique plaintiff law firm based in Milsons Point NSW.

We are a dedicated legal team advocating for the rights of survivors failed by systems meant to protect them. In this role, you investigate deeply sensitive cases, uncover systemic failings, and build strong legal strategies to hold institutions accountable. You will assist with supporting survivors with empathy and clarity, helping them reclaim their stories while navigating complex legal processes.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible for building complex civil claims for survivors of historical child abuse. Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

· Minimum 2+years PQE

· Experience in litigation.

· Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction between clients, colleagues and team members.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Drafting skills.

· Self- motivated and organised.

· Prior experience or knowledge of personal injury claims is not mandatory but will be considered favourably.

The key tasks include:

o   Managing clients from diverse backgrounds and provide high quality legal advice.

o   Drafting of legal correspondence including advices, chronologies, position papers, pleadings, briefs for counsel and evidence bundles.

o   Drafting of client correspondence.

o   Legal research.

o   File administration.

Salary: Package  $95,000 to $110,000 base salary plus superannuation subject to the successful candidate's experience.
