Your Role
Are you passionate about governance, risk reporting, and stakeholder engagement? We're seeking a Reporting Specialist who will play a pivotal role in further strengthening risk management across our Commercial Insurance Business by delivering insightful reporting and supporting governance processes within the IIA Chief Risk Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce timely, detailed, and insightful reporting for senior management, and Board Committees, including the Chief Risk Officer's (CRO) report.
- Coordinate and manage reporting schedules for the CRO and management committees, ensuring effective oversight of risk matters.
- Collaborate with Line 1 risk and Group Risk colleagues to create standard reporting formats that are clear and impactful.
- Lead and embed a fit-for-purpose committee reporting and governance.
- Support the Secretariat function for the Divisional Risk Committee and collaborate with Co-Sec and business stakeholders to deliver reporting in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve the efficiency, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of risk data insights and reporting.
- Facilitate improvements in reporting formats and channels including leveraging technology and AI to drive efficiencies.
- Implement risk improvement initiatives and respond to regulatory and board requirements aligned with Group Risk Strategy.
This is a permanent role, open to candidates located on Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
About You
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems and distil data into clear, actionable insights for executive and board-level audiences.
- Highly organised, structured, and outcomes-focused with experience managing annual communications plans and senior stakeholders.
- General insurance experience preferred.
- Understanding of the Australian regulatory environment, governance, and risk management concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
