Create impact as a Reporting Specialist.
Are you passionate about governance, risk reporting, and stakeholder engagement? We're seeking a Reporting Specialist for a newly created role that will play a pivotal part in supporting the preparation and delivery of clear, insightful, and pragmatic risk reporting for the Chief Risk Office CGUA. This role will contribute to various committees, including the Board Risk Committees, by ensuring the right information is structured, interpreted, and presented in a timely manner to support effective decision-making.
Rather than focusing on deep data analytics, the emphasis of this role is on interpreting risk information, understanding its implications, and communicating it in a meaningful way to senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for shaping high-quality reports that reflect strong risk knowledge, enable sound decision-making, and continuously enhance how governance information is presented.
Note: This is not a deep data analytics role. The focus is on interpreting information, structuring governance reports, and clearly communicating risk insights to senior stakeholders.
This is a permanent role, open to candidates located on Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
About You
- Skilled in structuring, drafting, and presenting governance reports and board papers.
- Strong risk knowledge and understanding of governance concepts, with the ability to interpret complex information and distil it into clear messages.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a talent for making information accessible to senior and board-level audiences.
- Highly organised and structured, with experience managing reporting cycles and planning processes.
- Collaborative and confident engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- General insurance experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment are an advantage.
Applications close Friday, 12 September 2025 at 23:59pm AEST.
All this shows up in what we offer:
- Up to 50% off personal insurance, including home and motor insurance
- 5 myLeave days per year on top of annual leave
