Role Highlights

As Marine Civil Maintenance Superintendent, you will maintain infrastructure that resides in or near water bodies (from sheet piles toward the waterside including the sheet piles), ensuring they can withstand various environmental stresses and meet safety standards. The role manages a small team of Marine Civil and Diving Supervisors as well as service panel contractors.

In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan and manage the annual programme of Marine Civil assets maintenance works.

• Manage personnel and equipment resources of the Marine Civil Maintenance section to ensure effective utilisation and customer service.

• Lead and facilitate a team of supervisors in planning and reviewing work progress, prepare regular progress reports covering cost and quality issues and undertake final inspections of completed works.

• Maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Your well-developed leadership, communication and negotiation skills mean you have proven ability to successfully manage marine civil maintenance teams and projects. Your contract administration skills allow you to effectively manage panel contractors including cost, scope management, safety and quality management, performance monitoring and reporting.

You'll also bring:

• Trade Qualifications in Building, Civil and Marine Construction, Fabrication or other maintenance discipline or extensive relevant experience.

• Good coordination and supervisory skills with experience in managing maintenance in an industrial environment.

• Well-developed knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations relating to maintenance management.

• A mindset of continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance systems, processes, and outcomes while embodying our core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (CARE).
