Role: Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) – 20 hours/week
Location: Wondunna, Fraser Coast

Looking for a meaningful career move in early childhood education? This is a rare opportunity to join the established team at Star of the Sea LDC & Kindergarten, a 75-place service nestled within the scenic Fraser Coast and co-located with Star of the Sea Primary School.

We're seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join us in a part-time capacity. Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate, you'll be supported by a warm, welcoming team in a close-knit, community-focused environment.

Your Role as an ECT
  • Deliver an inclusive, engaging kindergarten program aligned with the EYLF and QKLG.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Foster a vibrant and aesthetically rich learning space.
  • Maintain accurate observations, evaluations, and documentation of learning.
  • Support compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Be a positive ambassador for our service and values in the local community.
  • Potential to act as Responsible Person in the Director's absence.
What You'll Need
  • ACECQA-approved Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, or Master's in Early Childhood Education.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check - QLD).
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law & Regulations.
  • Familiarity with behaviour guidance frameworks and inclusive practices.
