About you

You are an excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with students and the student support team. You are a good listener and follow directions. You are supportive towards students but ensure you meet compliance expectations too.

You possess sound knowledge of the VET/RTO and CRICOS sectors, or you are a fast learner with the ability to grasp regulatory frameworks and training requirements quickly. Your attention to detail ensures compliance with industry standards and supports continuous improvement.

The Roles: We are looking for-

Trainer & Assessor:

  • CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
  • CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • adhere to all policies and procedures issued by Hopkins
  • attend and participate in moderation and validation as specified by Hopkins
  • maintain a Professional Development Log for each calendar year and provide update
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Know how - Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning learning modules, managing course completions, maintaining accurate learning data, and providing support LMS access and use.
  • Deliver the relevant training and assess students

The successful applicant should possess the following:

  • Great presentation, written and communication skills
  • Must have a Certificate IV in TAE - TAE40122
  • Relevant 3-5 years industry experience in relevant roles, Cert IV in TAE and relevant certification
  • experience with Learning Management System and scheduling software
  • Experience with, and knowledge of the vocational training sector in Australia
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of RTO/CRICOS compliance
