Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Perth, Western Australia, for a Trainer and Assessor specializing in Wall and Floor Tiling. The position involves developing and delivering high-quality vocational training sessions, assessing students' competencies in alignment with industry standards, and maintaining accurate training records. Responsibilities also include assisting with curriculum development, supporting students' learning progress, and collaborating with the academic team to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in Wall and Floor Tiling, including knowledge of tools, techniques, and materials, as well as practical industry experience.
- Strong teaching, training, and assessment skills with the ability to develop lesson plans, conduct classes, and evaluate students competently.
- Familiarity with national training packages, competency-based assessment, and regulatory compliance within the vocational education sector.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications in Wall and Floor Tiling along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 equivalent qualifications).
- Previous experience as a trainer and assessor in Wall and Floor Tiling is preferred but not mandatory.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
