About the Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Trade Assistant / Junior Service Technician to join our busy Milperra workshop.

You'll assist our service team with maintenance, repair, and setup of industrial food processing machinery both in-house and at customer sites throughout NSW.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and mechanical challenges.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities


• Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs in the workshop and at customer facilities


• Sharpen and maintain cutting tools using professional equipment


• Help with machine servicing, testing, and setup


• Perform general workshop housekeeping and tool maintenance


• Support the shopfront by preparing and dispatching spare-parts orders


• Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings


• Carry out pick-ups and deliveries as required

Skills & Requirements


• Provisional (or full) Australian Driver's Licence – required


• Full Australian work rights


• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude


• Confident using hand and power tools


• Good communication and teamwork skills


• Experience in a mechanical, electrical, or workshop environment preferred


• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
