Freyssinet Australia is seeking an experienced
Engineering Team Leader
to join our
Remedial Engineering Services
division, based in
Melbourne
. This is a strategic leadership role focused on overseeing the Victorian region's remedial engineering operations, including business development, project delivery, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff across remedial and cathodic protection design projects
  • Oversee the delivery of maintenance and monitoring contracts
  • Drive business development and build strong client relationships within the Victorian market
  • Provide technical and commercial oversight of projects
  • Coordinate with national teams and support internal initiatives as required

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, with exposure to remedial works and cathodic protection preferred
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong engineering design and project management skills
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Ability to operate autonomously and lead the local strategy
  • Local industry knowledge and market familiarity
  • Materials Engineer - Degree Qualified

Role Details

  • Vehicle: Car allowance provided
  • Tools: Laptop and mobile phone supplied
  • Location: Melbourne-based, with occasional interstate travel

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for a locally based engineering professional with a strong understanding of the Victorian remedial market. A background in engineering design and project execution, combined with commercial awareness and leadership skills, will be key to success in this role.
