About the role

This full-time Cold Warehouse Supervisor role at Ready Bake Pty Ltd in Virginia, QLD offers an exciting opportunity to take on a key supervisory position within the company's warehousing and distribution operations. As an industry leader in pastry manufacturing , Ready Bake is looking for an experienced warehouse professional to oversee the efficient and safe running of their refrigerated storage facility.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating a small team of warehouse operatives to ensure all goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner
  2. Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the cold storage facility, including temperature monitoring, stock rotation and cleanliness
  3. Implementing and enforcing warehouse procedures and health and safety practices to create a safe working environment
  4. Analysing warehouse data to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies
  5. Liaising with production, logistics and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled effectively
  6. Providing coaching, training and performance management to the warehouse team

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehousing environment
  2. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and stock rotation best practices. Previous experience with SAP business one and MYCHEP would be highly regarded.
  3. Ability to read and interpret operational data to identify and resolve issues
  4. Excellent communication and people management skills to lead and motivate a team
  5. A proactive, safety-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
  6. Forklift licence with significant experience using High Reach Forklifts and/or experience operating warehousing equipment
