Department Overview
Motorola Solutions Software & Services team is part of the International Motorola Solutions business servicing the Australia and New Zealand region. We are an innovative team that delivers managed, support services and software solutions to our customers. We deliver customers focused world-class, leading edge, end-to-end solutions within each customer's unique environment that include various voice (including radio) communications, data, video & software technologies. Our customers are predominantly in the public safety government sector and the mining & energy industries.

Job Description
The Asset Management Analyst will assist in the management and governance of asset data that will support the overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.

This role works closely with cross functional teams throughout the organization such as support services, engineering, Network Operations Control Centre, 3rd party vendors and management to ensure that our assets are managed and the data is accurate. The asset management analyst will produce adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual asset reports and also lead account-mandated audits and contractual reporting obligations.

This is a 6-month contract position with a view to extend. The role is based in the Melbourne Burwood East office, with some travel required to various sites around Metropolitan Melbourne. Travel expenses will be reimbursed where applicable. Flexibility to work from home is available.

You will be responsible for:

Data management and governance to ensure data is maintained with accuracy and detail. Provision and maintain accurate data within the asset database and ITSM systems. Build and maintain reports and procedures to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database. Liaise with internal stakeholders in the organization to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined. Conduct asset audits through site inspections. Ensure asset management deliverables are fully aligned within the scope of contracts.

Education And Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in asset data management and extraction

Essential
Experience and Skills

  • Experience in asset management
  • Accurate data entry, data extraction and data cleansing skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots and Power Query)
  • Xtraction queries and dashboards

It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:

  • Experience in BMC Remedy
  • Specific experience in radio, console and network infrastructure asset management
