As part of this transformation, the Mental Health Redevelopment Team is leading the integration of new clinical spaces, models of care, and operational processes. This work requires strong change management leadership to ensure staff, patients, and communities experience a safe and effective transition.

About The Role
As a Change Manager - Mental Health Redevelopment Projects, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting capital works projects and change initiatives across HNE Mental Health. The focus of this role is the people side of change – including changes to models of care, policies and processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organisational structures.

  • Supporting project committees with expert change management advice and progress reporting.
  • Leading and mentoring staff to embrace a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation mental health redevelopment program that will directly impact patient care and staff wellbeing.

  • Strong understanding of clinical healthcare practices, particularly in mental health settings.
  • Proven success in leading complex projects, policies, or service redesign initiatives.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult effectively with management, clinicians, consumers, and community members.
  • Highly developed problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in fostering positive change, influencing behaviours, and developing teams.
