Daintree Saltwater Barramundiis a leading Barramundi farm, known for innovative and sustainable aquaculture practices. We're passionate about producing top-quality Barramundi and are searching for someone like you to join our team as a Farm Hand/Pond Technician.

This role isn't just a job – it's a career starter You'll even have the chance to complete a Certificate III in Aquaculture as part of your professional development.

Who We are Looking For:

We're on the hunt for school leavers or anyone who is keen to work outdoors, get hands-on, and dive into aquaculture. If you love the idea of working with fish, have a passion for sustainability, and enjoy learning new skills, this is your change to be part of a dynamic industry.

What You Will Do:

• Feeding fish and monitoring fish health
• Assisting with harvesting and packing
• Conducting water quality testing to ensure healthy ponds
• General farm maintenance and operation of small plant and equipment
• Stick to safety standards to keep everything running smoothly.

What We Are Looking For:

• A positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
• Physical fitness and readiness for outdoor, manual work
• Mechanical aptitude is a bonus but not essential
• Clear communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
• Driver's licence and personal transport
