Your next career opportunity
As a Trial Manager, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating uncontrolled pilot and clinical, randomised controlled trials. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge mental health training programs, liaising with researchers, organisations, and schools across Victoria. This role offers you the chance to develop expertise in research administration, contribute to scientific publications, and directly impact mental health outcomes in diverse communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Research Trials: Manage trial registration, ethics submissions, participant recruitment, and adherence to research protocols for mental health training programs.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Liaise with Chief Investigators, research teams, host organisations, and Community Advisory Boards to ensure smooth trial operations.
- Manage Data and Reporting: Support data collection, prepare datasets for analysis, and contribute to progress reports and scientific papers.
- Support Education Initiatives: Assist in supervising graduate students and contribute to lectures on mental health research.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated graduate with excellent communication skills, experience in social sciences or trials research, and a strong interest in mental health and research administration.
You may also:
Hold an Honours or Masters degree in health, medical research, mental health, social sciences, public health, or education.
Have experience in coordinating complex research programs and understanding of randomised controlled trials.
Possess strong data management skills and proficiency in statistical packages like SPSS or Stata.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Have experience with ethics applications and a willingness to travel for research purposes.
