About The Role
The Revenue Assurance Coordinator will facilitate billing changes and initiatives across Queensland X-Ray and oversee the delivery of our Central Accounts services. Reporting to the Clerical Operations Manager, you will partner with Clerical & Modality Operations and key stakeholders to implement policy updates, lead communication and training, and drive continuous improvement in billing accuracy and efficiency.
You will manage the administrative functions and performance of the Central Accounts Team (including rostering and leave in conjunction with the Operations Coordinators), provide expert administrative billing advice to practices, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement across the business and with other Sonic entities. Your leadership will help foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture and consistent, high-quality clerical outcomes across Queensland X-Ray.
About You
- Demonstrated expertise in medical billing/revenue assurance within healthcare, with an expert understanding of Queensland X-Ray billing policies and central accounts processes.
- Proficient in the systems and tools required to create clear communication, training materials and process documentation.
- Proven ability to analyse trends, identify risks/opportunities and deliver improvement projects end-to-end.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing rostering, performance and team development in a service environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative problem solving.
- High attention to detail, accountability and initiative; able to work across multiple practices and priorities.
