At Arup, we're looking for a driven and enthusiastic cadet to join us as an Assistant MEP BIM Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn - gaining hands - on experience in 3D modelling and digital design while working on city-shaping projects alongside industry experts.

The Opportunity
  • Develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drafting principles and modelling skills.
  • Work within a team helping to deliver quality drawings on time and budget.
  • Build excellent time management skills.
  • Become team oriented, with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provide progress information to supervisors and colleagues to allow accurate reporting.

Is this role right for you?
  • HSC or recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Drafting or willingness to undertake these qualifications.
  • Sound computer proficiency.
  • Experience in the operation of CAD software Revit a bonus but not essential.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and digital tools as required.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
  • Effective written communication and writing skills.
