About the company:
Based in Brisbane, QLD our client is establishing itself as a future leader in manufacturing radiopharmaceutical APIs and devices and delivering world-class research and expertise to develop novel therapies to significantly improve survival and quality of life for patients with cancer.

About the role:
Work within a high-performance, multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and translate radiopharmaceuticals for manufacturing.
This role would be ideal for an established leader in radiochemistry, global SME with radioisotope separation, production and processing experience.
Duties will include:
- Lead a team within R&D to develop methods to purify isotopes for the downstream production of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Provide scientific and technical expertise to support the growth of the Pb-212 production program, from small scale experiments, automation, scaling production, and GMP-compliant manufacturing.
- As an SME you will support all aspects of downstream production including but not limited to radiochemical separations and processing, isotope purification, SOP development, training isotope production operators on the technology and processes.
Skills & experience:
- PhD in chemistry, nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical, or relevant field with analytical or radiochemistry experience
- Experience with radioisotope separation and method development and/or production
- Recent and relevant experience with HPGe, ICPMS and HPGe Spectrometry
- Experience with separations and solid-phase extractions or automation.
- Experience with alpha/beta/gamma emitting radionuclides preferred.
- Experience in team management/ leadership highly advantageous
- Multi-disciplined radiochemist with GMP experience, preferrable.
