About the role

Indooroopilly Golf Club is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Accounts and Operations Assistant, to join its supportive, close-knit team. This role will provide essential support to the Club's accounting and operational functions, playing a key part in the smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including, responding to member enquiries, processing payments, receipting, statement generation and reconciliations.
  • Provide administrative support for operational functions including maintaining registers, monitoring service agreements, document management, staff induction and safety training and updating internal policies.
  • Provide reception coverage during staff breaks and leave.
  • Contribute to the Club's end of month and year end processes including annual membership renewals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Undertake special projects and other duties as required.

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts or operations assistant role, ideally within the hospitality or golf industry
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills, with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using accounting and business management software and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including excel.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, organised and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
