Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Dot Net Web Architect based in Sydney/Melbourne, VIC, with some work-from-home opportunities. The Dot Net Web Architect will design and develop web architecture, create and maintain software systems, and oversee the development of web applications. Daily tasks will include collaborating on front-end development, leading web development projects, and ensuring that solutions are scalable and reliable.
Location: Sydney

Qualifications
What you will do:
- Develop and Implement User Interface Components, using concepts and workflows to create responsive and user-friendly UI components.
- Profile and improve front-end performance and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear objectives.
- Develop technical specifications and architecture, design robust technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Utilize .NET programming languages (such as C#) to write high-quality code, and ensure code readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Perform code reviews, debugging and unit testing
- Create architectural blueprints for web applications.
- Optimize existing codebase for performance and scalability.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing Angular and .Net solutions.
- 5+ years of React and Angular.JS with .Net core development experience.
- 5+ years of experience building .Net core applications and MS SQL scripting, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- 3+ years of experience upgrading legacy technology stacks to transition to leading cloud technologies.
- 3+ Yr of experience in the .NET & C#, with excellent programming, code review, debugging and unit testing skills are required.
- Knowledge of retail banking domain and having worked on a Branch Teller application
- Understanding of Retail banking core and a Branch Teller integration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or an equivalent degree.
What would be great to have:
- Previous experience working with Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Experience working with ServicePoint and ServiceNow.
- Proven experience creating design documents and assisting with the architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering the solution.
