- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, with internships or administrative roles in procurement being a distinct advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and filtering.
- Fluency in English is essential, and strong Mandarin speaking skills are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and work efficiently under supervision.
- Foundational understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain fundamentals.
- Prior experience within the consumer electronics industry is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the following core duties:
- Provide comprehensive support to the procurement team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Accurately maintain and update all procurement records and the supplier database.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders for confirmed material and service requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments and ensure timely adherence to delivery timelines.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments to accurately ascertain their material and service needs.
- Generate comprehensive procurement reports as required.
- Translate procurement documents and correspondence when necessary.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both local and international vendors.
