Job Description:

As an HR - People & Culture Officer, you will play a critical role in developing, supporting, enhancing and maintaining our company culture, employee engagement, and streamlining our HR operations and processes. You will work closely with management and staff to ensure that our HR policies and practices align with our company values and business objectives that keep track with the latest regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Policy Development and Organisational Growth:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support our company culture and business goals.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organisational initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters
  • Actively seek out and propose new opportunities for clinic growth and improvement. Your innovative ideas will help shape the future of our clinic.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Oversee and refine the entire recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience.
  • Analyse market data and develop innovative methods to recruit in a competitive industry.
  • Collaborate with our department leads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Facilitate orientation and ongoing training for new employees.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Manage employee relations from start to finish, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organisation.

HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Draft, review, and manage employee contracts ensuring compliance with legal standards and organisational policies.
  • Administer and manage the Performance Development System PDS process, including performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.
  • Oversee information on minimum wages, industry awards and make sure company is adhering to national standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Create and update comprehensive position descriptions to clearly outline roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Manage payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, including deductions, benefits, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth HR operations and support team initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department leads and administrative team leads to support and implement team-specific initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees, facilitating open and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop programs that support professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably with a focus on contracts, performance management, employee recognition, creating position descriptions, and payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
