Are you a passionate and driven Beauty Advisor with experience as a Make-up artist and within the department store environment? Do you love working within the beauty industry and representing luxury brands? If so, these may be the perfect roles for you, representing Hermes at David Jones Chatswood.

Due to an exciting new venture, we are assisting David Jones in recruiting for Beauty Advisors to work for a contracted period which is estimated to commence in November 2025 and run until January 2027.

These positions offer approximately 25 to 35 rostered hours per week across all trading hours at David Jones in Chatswood.

The roles:

As a Beauty Advisor for the Hermes Counter you will share your expertise with your customers. Inspiring them with your product knowledge and recommendations for the perfect beauty and fragrance ensemble.

You will contribute to the achievement of counter outcomes, ensuring counter sales targets are achieved whilst you represent the brand in line with all brand guidelines. You will assist in ensuring overall operation of the counter is maintained to a high standard and that an exceptional customer experience is consistently delivered.

Essential position prerequisites:

• Previous experience in beauty within the department store / retail environment
• Qualified makeup artist or strong experience working within makeup
• Able to prove your experience in performing makeovers and providing personalised beauty consultations
• Exceptional customer service skills with an obvious passion for luxury beauty
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPI's
• Able to build strong relationships with your customers and drive customer loyalty
• Confident in delivering product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Willingness to participate in in-store events and brand activations to drive engagement
