Nepean Private Hospital is located in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics.

Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

What's Included in the Graduate Program?
Our 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles
(minimum 30 hours/week)
, is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills. This program is paired with an additional Consolidation Year to ensure you're well-prepared to succeed.

• Maternity (Registered Midwives only) graduate streams available – depending on Hospital preference.
• One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12-month program
• O ngoing employment contract

What we'll need from you

• Evidence of Australian working rights
• Completion of a nursing or midwifery course within the last six months or expected completion at least one month before starting.
• Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.

What to get ready for your application

• Your updated resume (Mandatory)
• Two recent student clinical placement reports (Mandatory)
• Proof of Australian working rights (e.g. Australian / New Zealand passport, Australian birth certificate, or international passport and relevant Australian working visa evidence).
