Assistant Account Executive – General Insurance

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Executive to join our growing team in the Melbourne CBD, supporting a dynamic portfolio of SME commercial clients across a wide range of industries.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone with Tier 1 qualifications and a passion for building a long-term career in insurance broking. You'll work alongside experienced Account Managers and Brokers, gaining exposure to all aspects of client servicing, renewals, quoting, and policy management.

About the Role

  • Support Account Managers in managing a portfolio of SME commercial clients
  • Assist with renewals, endorsements, quotations, and new business processing
  • Liaise with insurers and clients to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
  • Prepare documentation, policy schedules, and client correspondence
  • Maintain client records and ensure compliance with industry standards

About You

  • Tier 1 qualified (essential)
  • Previous commercial insurance experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach
  • Team player who enjoys supporting others and learning from experienced brokers
