Given the rapidly growing nature of our clinic, we've found ourselves in need of increased admin support. We are looking for a Client Relations Officer to join our team as a part-time contractor (approx. 10hrs per week, flexible days/times). Remuneration will be negotiated at an hourly rate, as per normal contracting arrangements. You would work alongside our current admin officer and practice manager, to provide admin support to a team of five part time Psychologists, one student psychologist, and our Principal Psychologist/team leader.
The key responsibilities of this role:
- Basic reception duties, such as responding to all enquiries for service (which could include, clients, families, GPs or other service providers), distributing messages to the team as appropriate, setting up and managing client files, booking appointments, managing reschedules, cancellations etc.,
- Basic admin duties, such as managing clinical diaries, distributing clinical correspondence, and organising clinical paperwork.

- Relatable & kind. Our clinic provides mental health services to families and clients who are often in times of high stress. You must be able to represent our team and clinic in a manner which is consistent with our values.
- An excellent communicator.
To be eligible, you need:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar reception/admin role. Previous experience in an allied health or medical environment will be highly regarded.
- To be self-motivated and a great team player and communicator.
- A competent understanding of GP Mental Health Treatment Plans and referrals, Medicare processing and an understanding of online diary system and functions.
- Be available for work flexibly across a week.
- Your own ABN and work equipment (laptop). A phone and access to our clinical software would be provided.
