Adairs Bus and Van Hire is looking for caring, reliable drivers to join our respected team, providing Assisted School Travel for children with special needs.

This is a driving job — with a chance to make a meaningful difference, ensuring students have safe, positive transport to and from school.

Based in the Gosford area, the role involves morning and afternoon school runs 5 days a week during term time, offering great work-life balance.

What You'll Bring

We're seeking a safety-focused team player with:

  • Safety Awareness: Proactive in spotting and managing risks on the road and during pick-ups/drop-offs.

Essential Criteria

Upon application we require:

  • Working with children check (working)
  • A very good driving history with RMS NSW.

Other Criteria

  • A willingness to gain a higher license category
  • National and/or state driver's medical assessment to be obtained (forms provided)
  • Experienced in driving a van or small bus, 5 to 7 metres in length
  • Fit and mobile, able to assist with wheelchair transfer and wheelchair lifter operation.
  • Position is subject to a driving assessment
  • Any associated experience or background in child or disability care is highly advantageous and will be considered favorably.
  • No criminal convictions - a police criminal background check will be required
  • Have current or willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
