We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our team at Ashby Madden Truman Accountants and Advisers. This role sits within a supportive team and reports to the Accounting Manager.

We see this as a fulltime role but are open to conversation regarding flexible arrangements. We're a progressive firm and are passionate about supporting our people through their careers.

Experience and knowledge are important, however equally important is being a cultural fit. Our team is cohesive and friendly, we work hard, we enjoy regular casual team events, and as a management team we strive for continued improvement to the mutual benefit of clients, staff and the business.

Does this resonate with you, and do you fit much of the below criteria?

  • Experienced in preparation of financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements for small business clients
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Public Practice
  • Proficient in use of Xero & MYOB
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong client service skills
  • Eager to learn with strong problem solving and research skills
  • Excellent time management with the ability to deliver in tight timelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field required
  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards completion
