We're looking for a Laboratory Certification Officer for approximately 3 weeks work. $95 per hour

This is an important role, assisting the business to identify improvements and document processes to achieve sustainable compliance to ISO9001 and ISO17025 accreditation. You must be able to demonstrate a background of success helping business achieve and maintain certification, and an understanding of iron ore sampling and testing in a modern commodities laboratory.

Rate
: $95 per hour + superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess status of the management system, training, certification records and provide feedback on improvements
  • Assess original ISO9001 stage 1 audit outcomes and provide guidance on how to address current deficiencies
  • Convey requirements to the organisation at various management levels, ensuring leaders understand their responsibilities/commitment to ISO9001

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven record of success assisting businesses, corporations and groups achieve and maintain ISO9001 & ISO17025 certification
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the key principles of ISO9001, and requirements to meet all relevant clauses applicable to the business
  • Have a general appreciation for iron ore sampling and testing in a modern commodities laboratory
  • Able to perform a SWOT analysis of existing laboratory operating system
  • Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement processes
  • Skilled and training/guiding employees in understanding their responsibilities as per the ISO9001 and ISO17025 standards
  • Able to document continuous improvement processes and achieve regular feedback from customers as to whether the business is meeting expectations
