About The Opportunity
We are seeking a customer-focused Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated team at our
Talbarra Retirement Living
in
Waterford
. This is a
permanent full-time opportunity
, working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our Retirement Living community is of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
  • Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and general landscaping tasks.
  • Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address gardening needs.
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the facility team to create outdoor spaces that support resident well-being.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

To be successful, you will have

  • Experience in general maintenance and groundskeeping (aged care experience preferred)
  • Certificate IV qualification or relevant experience
  • Current valid drivers' licence
  • Australian work rights
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
  • Evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination
  • A pre-employment medical assessment may be required
