GAMI Chicken & Beer Highpoint are looking for chefs and cooks to join the team at Highpoint Shopping Centre VIC.

Situated in the heart of the entertainment precinct in Highpoint Shopping Centre, Gami Highpoint is arguably the busiest and biggest Gami stores around. Experience from the Highpoint store will be like no other, as candidates will be able to learn and grow their skillset rapidly in the fast paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing and cooking food to a high-quality standard from provided recipes
  • Maintaining high levels of safety and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Managing inventory levels and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Working closely with other kitchen staff and training new staff as required

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
  • Ability to work on the stove and use the wok
  • Initiative and confidence to make decisions and suggest improvements
  • Good organisation, time management and communication skills
  • Great work ethic and the willingness to learn new things
