Role: Senior Environmental Planner / Ecologist / Consultant

FPE provide environmental planning and approvals, ecological and green based environmental management and compliance, contaminated land assessment, remediation, soil, surface water, groundwater and gas management and many other specializations.

To be considered Future-Plus Environmental material you will need to be:

  • Passion for planning, management and environmental approvals / legislative requirements in QLD
  • Ecology (including flora and fauna) skills in identification, management and approvals
  • Other skills in environmental sciences such as soils, earth sciences and everything relating to soil, water and land investigations and management would be beneficial
  • Professional, autonomous and takes great pride in their work

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ Years relevant consulting industry experience
  • Evaluation of complex planning / ecological and environmental problems and forming solutions
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
  • Undertake evaluation of environmental features of multiple sites and possess the ability to formulate site specific short and long term goals and objectives
  • Undertake environmental impact assessments including sample design, implementation, monitoring and evaluations
  • Consider, plan and negotiate propose management and solutions to improve environmental outcomes
  • Undertake a wide range of natural resource assessments and develop strategies to offset and mitigate environmental harm
  • Ability to develop management plans, monitoring plans and provide recommendations
  • Recognized tertiary degree/s in Environmental Planning, Ecology, Science, Geology, Soil Science, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or an equivalent related discipline
  • Excellent written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Availability to start immediately
