Key Responsibilities

  • East to West are looking for suitably skilled Operators to undertake final trim, bulk & detailed earthworks for the following items of plant:

  • Excavators (Final Trim)

  • Posi tracks (Final Trim)
  • Graders (GPS & LPS)

  • To be successful in any of the positions you must be able to:

  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain GPS systems to ensure accurate machine positioning and high-quality results.

  • Interpret and work from site plans, drawings, and project specifications to meet design tolerances.
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks and maintain machinery in excellent working condition.
  • Assist with general site operations, earthworks, and material handling as required.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and team members to achieve efficient and safe project delivery.
  • Adhere to all company and site safety requirements, promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Complete all required documentation, including machine logs, pre-starts, and daily work reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience operating excavators, posi-tracks, and graders, with GPS experience highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Final Trim GPS technology and other machine control systems.
  • Proficient in the use of LPS (theodolite) set up and operation.
  • Strong understanding of earthworks, trimming, and grading processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
  • Current operator licenses, tickets, and relevant certifications.
  • A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining high-quality standards on site.
  • FIFO or remote project experience preferred but not essential.
