Mount Alvernia College seeks an inspiring and visionary leader for the role of Deputy Principal – Faith and Mission. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our students while fostering a strong commitment to the College's Franciscan ethos and Catholic values.
As Deputy Principal – Faith and Mission, you will play a key role in leading the spiritual and ethical development of our school community. You will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to embed faith into every aspect of student life, ensuring a holistic approach to education that nurtures academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Faith and Mission: Animate Catholic identity, engage staff and students in faith formation, and foster a culture reflecting Gospel values and the charism of the College.
- Strategic Leadership: Ensure the College's vision and mission are authentically realised through strategic decision-making aligned with educational and spiritual goals.
- Community and Partnerships: Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and the wider community to strengthen Catholic identity and promote inclusion.
- Administration Leadership: Manage school operations, staffing, and resources to support the College's mission and strategic priorities.
- Compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with legal, child protection, and safety requirements while promoting a culture of proactive risk management and safeguarding.
