Job Description

NCS Australia is seeking a skilled
UX/UI Designer
to join a 3-month contract supporting a major healthcare transformation initiative. This role involves leading human-centred design activities, conducting in-depth user research, and translating insights into actionable design artefacts. You'll facilitate workshops with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians and executives, and help shape digital experiences that improve operational and clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in hybrid environments, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and contributing to Agile delivery cycles. You'll be designing dashboards, workflow tools, and data visualisations that support decision-making and enhance usability across complex healthcare systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in
    UX/UI design
    , ideally within healthcare or complex service environments
  • Strong
    facilitation skills
    for discovery and co-design workshops
  • Proficiency in
    user research
    methods including interviews and usability testing
  • Ability to create
    empathy maps
    ,
    personas
    , and
    service blueprints
  • Skilled in
    wireframing and prototyping
    within branding and accessibility frameworks
  • Solid understanding of
    information architecture
    across multi-level systems
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts through
    visual storytelling
  • Comfortable working in
    Agile teams
    and hybrid collaboration environments
