Finance Manager

Our client has an exciting opportunity which has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a thriving, well-established winery operation based in Adelaide, South Australia. This full-time position offers the chance to play a key role in shaping and driving the company's financial strategy within a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting, tax, treasury, and cash flow management

  • Prepare detailed monthly Board reports and financial packs, offering insightful analysis

  • Provide strategic financial direction to the Board and shareholders

  • Oversee month-end management accounting processes and review reconciliations

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow functions

  • Conduct financial modelling for investment appraisal and analysis

  • Manage all treasury matters, including banking and insurance

  • Coordinate with external auditors for timely and accurate annual audits

  • Work with external accountants to finalize Annual Financial Statements

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals while managing hands-on tasks

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ICAA/CPA certified (preferred)

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A proactive, lateral thinker who can lead by example

  • A collaborative team player with a strong ability to motivate others

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
