  • Leading Hand mechanical fitting & machining workshop
  • Acacia Ridge, QLD Location. Mon – Friday 38 hour week + occasional OT

What kind of work may be involved?

  • Complete mechanical fitting and workshop related duties
  • Supervision of planned works, workshop labour and materials for scheduled, unscheduled and emerging work in the workshop and on customer sites
  • Assist with rosters, and job activities to minimise delays  
  • Ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for scoping and estimating costs and timeframes 

Ideal skills & experience:

  • Minimum experience of mechanical equipment, fitting & machining knowledge
  • Ideally experience with pumps, fans, bearings, driveshafts
  • Sound understanding of a workshop service facility inspection and repair process 
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills 
  • Computer literate at an intermediate level 
  • Proven safety and quality focus & Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
