About the role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced family support workers to join our team and assist with in home support and community access on a casual basis to our client in Oxley Park. Client is living with an acquired brain injury requires a support worker who is experienced, compassionate, and able to maintain strong professional boundaries. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you
- Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation and light domestic duties.
- Support with appointments, grocery shopping, and gym visits.
- Client is vision impaired - guide the client safely in the community (they typically walk a step behind with a hand on your shoulder for navigation)
- Provide support that fosters independence and builds confidence.
- Engage in school drop-off for a young child as part of daily routines.
- Available for Morning support (8am–12pm) and Afternoon/evening support (1pm–4pm). Shift available all 7 days a week.
About you
- You're caring, reliable, and confident in supporting both adults and young children.
- Experience working with ABI/TBI clients, supporting families, children, or people with disability or neurodivergence – highly regarded.
- Available to work a minimum of 3 days a week during the specified shift hours, with a commitment to at least 15 hours per week.
- Must hold a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, valid NDIS Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- A minimum of Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
