The role

Springfield Lakes Towing and Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our growing team in Darra, Queensland.

As an HC Driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy and oversized loads across various job sites through Brisbane and SEQ.

Key responsibilities

  1. Safely operate large commercial vehicles, including heavy haulage super tilt trailers
  2. Transport a variety of heavy and oversized loads, such as construction equipment, machinery, and industrial materials
  3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and trailer are in proper working condition
  4. Secure loads using appropriate tie-down methods and equipment
  5. Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with all relevant road transport regulations
  6. Provide excellent customer service and communication with our customers

What we're looking for

  1. Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
  2. Proven experience as an HC driver, with a focus on heavy haulage and super tilt trailers
  3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of heavy vehicle operation
  4. Strong understanding of load securement and transportation of oversized/heavy goods
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  7. Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations
