As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing mechanical problems in heavy commercial vehicles
  • Performing repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out
  • Providing guidance and support to apprentices as needed
  • Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided)

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent industry experience will be accepted
  • Minimum of 1 year post-certificate experience (preferred)
  • Respectful attitude towards colleagues and customers
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • A pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
  • A valid driver's license, HR - MC license - highly desirable
  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position
