Lumus Imaging is seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Sonography Lead to support and inspire our sonography team across 10 Medical practices from Ballina to Browns Plains.

About the role.
As Regional Sonographer Lead, you'll oversee and coordinate sonography operations across 10 sites, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, clinical quality, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and uplift a high-performing sonography team
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture
- Provide training, supervision, and CPD opportunities for students and qualified staff.
- Drive service improvements in collaboration with site, clinical leaders and national teams.
- Manage rostering, recruitment, and resource allocation across the region.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and safety practices.
- Work clinically to deliver advanced ultrasound services (MSK, Vascular, Obstetrics, Paediatrics).
- Participate in national projects and contribute to policy development.
- Monitor performance metrics including patient satisfaction, scan quality, and team engagement.
- Actively contribute to the Lumus Ultrasound Advisory Committee and quality initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 FTE years of post-qualification experience as a Sonographer
- Strong general and advanced sonography skills
- A confident, approachable leader with excellent communication skills
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- A passion for developing others and improving systems.
- ASAR accreditation and a Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Clinical Sonography
- Qualifications in education or Management (desirable)
