About the role
Are you a confident Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who knows your way around complex machinery and thrives under pressure? Confident in your diagnostics and proud of your workmanship, you bring precision, reliability, and a proactive mindset to every task. Whether you're working solo or alongside a team, you take ownership of the job, communicate clearly, and keep safety front and centre. At IOR, your expertise keeps our fleet moving and our operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
- Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance to meet or exceed legislative and safety standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Carry out associated mechanical tasks with precision and care.
- Maintain clean, organised, and efficient workshop and depot environments.
- Accurately enter service, maintenance, and repair data to meet NHVAS compliance requirements
What IOR are Looking For:
You're someone who takes pride in your craft and feels energised by keeping essential industries moving. You bring precision, care, and a proactive mindset to every service and repair knowing that what you do behind the scenes helps businesses and communities thrive.
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade or tertiary Qualifications.
- Working with heavy vehicles including prime movers, rigids, and trailers as well as light vehicles.
- Previous experience working with fuel trailers will be advantageous.
- Valid driver's license (HR and MC license preferred).
