About the role
The Identity Analyst leads the acquisition, analysis, and maintenance of business and technical intelligence to support identity services, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business needs. They manage identity intelligence functions, develop operational plans, processes, and standards, and collaborate with other managers to maintain comprehensive documentation.
The role involves providing detailed business intelligence analysis to evaluate system performance and identify improvement opportunities, as well as preparing accurate reports for senior management.
The analyst builds strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to assess outcomes and recommend enhancements, while offering guidance to the team to foster expertise in the evolving identity landscape. They also ensure timely, accurate communication and documentation, promoting stakeholder understanding and managing expectations to deliver high-quality, compliant service.

About you
- Substantial knowledge and experience of identity analysis methodologies, tools and report generation.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship building abilities.
- Adaptability to evolving technology trends.
- Proficiency in business intelligence and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
