**About the Opportunity**
Partner with buying teams and work closely with other key business stakeholders in Pricing, Strategy, Trade Relations and Finance to support the delivery of incremental gross profit; optimise supplier investment and help manage cost inflation within the business.

You will support the buying function to monitor and understand supplier performance with a particular focus on cost and spend structure, helping with the analysis of supplier cost increases and guiding supplier negotiations. You will be a thought leader in cost management strategies and analytics.

**A day in the life of a Trade Investment Specialist at Endeavour**
- Champion and use big data to explain supplier/product performance, identify challenges and opportunities and provide recommendations to drive opportunity
- Lead Monthly and Quarterly Reporting cycles
- Lead the evaluation of supplier proposals, cost price increases and trading terms
- Lead the development of new tools, reporting and processes to drive outcomes for the business
- Ensure project continuity and stakeholder engagement
- Be a SME in cost and cost analytics for the Merchandise function
- Drive a culture of negotiation, encouraging maximising value for the business

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- A collaborative influencer with excellent communication and storylining skills, you are someone who can build a strong rapport and partner with stakeholders to influence and drive commercial outcomes
- Significant experience in data analytics including report creation and database querying
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle several concurrent initiatives
- Commitment to data integrity and accuracy of information presented
- Disciplined with excellent time management
- Biased toward factual analysis to support decision making and recommendations
