Corrosion Control Engineering (A member of the Eptec Group) is Australasia's largest corrosion prevention engineering company, utilising cathodic protection and material selection to protect buried or immersed metallic structures from corrosion.

CCE specialise in the use of cathodic protection to safeguard buried or immersed steel structures from corrosion including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.

We're on the lookout for multiple Junior Corrosion Technicians to join CCE's Melbourne team, based in Tullamarine, VIC.

Whether you're just starting out or bringing some hands on experience, we'd love to hear from you. A background in cathodic protection or related fields is a bonus but not a must. If you're keen to learn, team-focused, and ready to build a career in a specialised and growing industry, we'll support your growth every step of the way.

While experience in this space is highly regarded, it's not essential. We welcome individuals with a strong background in cathodic protection or related fields who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Technician Responsibilities include:

• Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenance.
• Commission cathodic protection systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs and improvements.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reports.

Requirements:

• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have equivalent working rights in Australia.
• Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded. (but not essential)
• Previous exposure to oil & gas, pipelines, marine and similar assets and infrastructure.
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
• Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
