Acacia Care Services is seeking motivated support workers to work across shifts that can include weekends.

The available shifts are

New farm QLD 4005

  • 09:30am to 02:30pm - Tuesday and Sunday

Open to experienced staff and those entering the industry.

The Role

  • Provide compassionate high-quality care.
  • Assistance with medication
  • Assistance with psychosocial support, appointments, and domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
  • Personal Care.
  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
  • Community access activities.
  • Full-time equivalent casual regular hours for the right candidate.

Essentials

  • Available for day and night shifts.
  • Experience in doing personal care
  • Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated as per QLD Government Regulations.
  • Current driver's licence & Mobile Phone.
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent disability related qualifications.
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal History Check or a National Police Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate (visit NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission ) to access this free module). At completion of the course, you will be provided with a certificate of completion which you can forward to

Desirable

  • Experience with any of the following, Personal Care, Medication Management, Domestic, Nursing support .
