Are you a passionate Qualified Baker with a flair for creating delicious Bread? Do you thrive in a creative kitchen environment? If so, we want you to join our team at Big Loaf Factory Bakery in O'Connor.

Permanent and Casual Positions Available

Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified bakers who take pride in their craft and are eager to contribute to our bakery's success. As a baker at Big Loaf factory, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and bake a wide range of artisan and specialty breads, using old style traditional methods (Experience with sourdough a must).
  • Follow recipes and production procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to innovate and develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

  • Baker Qualification and/or experience
  • Solid understanding of baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Available for early morning shifts - 2am.
