Due to our growing portfolio of commercial landscape, land management and natural resource projects, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who will join our team to maintain the natural spaces we create.

The role is in the West & Northwestern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Purpose

This role is responsible for contributing to on-site maintenance works in accordance with our established works program. You be responsible for maintaining our commercial, industrial, and ecological restoration landscape outcomes.

The role

  • Maintenance of native vegetation including remnant vegetation and restored landscapes, wetlands and creek corridors, and open space maintenance.
  • General maintenance of turf, lawn, native vegetation, advanced trees, and garden beds.

Essential

  • Qualified with Certificate III in Horticulture or

    equivalent industry experience.
  • Operate a mower, and a brush-cutter and be confident in herbicide application.
  • Currently hold construction induction qualification or ability to

    obtain.
  • Strong experience in the identification of plant species,

    planting, plant maintenance, and weed control.
  • Strong experience in the maintenance of parks and

    public open space reserves and the ability to contribute

    to the management of stormwater treatment systems,

    bushland reserves,
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframe and

    prioritise accordingly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work within Teams
  • Maintain a positive attitude to work.

Preferred

·       Experience using DMS and OHS

software packages.

  • Hold current Chemical User
  • Certificate/ACUP
