Bright Horizons Australia Childcare Wongalingis a privately owned long day care service, caring for children aged from 15 months to school age (including before and after school care, and vacation care) We value our employees and we are seeking dedicated, Cert 3 or Diploma qualified Educator to join our team.

This role would suit an Educator available to work Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am-6pm, when required.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Nurturing, educating and caring for children 15 months to 5 years
  • Planning and implementing exciting and stimulating activities for the children
  • Daily communication with parents and other team members

Qualities essential for the position are:

  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Current First Aid certificate, with Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Open driver's license and ability to drive the company vehicle
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours and availability
  • Highly motivated and show initiative in the workplace
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Happy and bright disposition
