A Small CPA firm at Hurstville is looking for a Medium Level Tax Accountant. Duties include preparation of small to medium business financial reports, tax returns, BAS statements and general office duties etc. Candidates should have completed local tertiary education with 3 year plus prior LOCAL accounting firm experience. Speak fluent English as this is a job requirement.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience as a tax accountant, demonstrating proficiency in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities.
  • A proficient understanding of Australian Taxation law with practical application of accounting principles.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software including Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft is preferred.
  • 3 Years Qualifications in accounting is advantageous.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
