Mechanical Assembler / Store Person

In this fulltime position your duties will include:

  • assembly/disassembly of new industrial equipment - alternators
  • electrical reconnection of equipment
  • repacking equipment and spare parts for dispatch
  • loading/unloading containers and trucks
  • manage movement of product into correct locations
  • use of all hand and power tools
  • spray painting as required

The successful candidate must have:

  • current driver's license
  • forklift license
  • mechanically minded
  • safety focus at all times
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • possess a strong focus on accuracy and pride in workmanship
  • be physically fit
  • able to work unsupervised at all times
  • multi tasking organisation skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • must undergo a medical examination
  • police clearance required
  • basic computer skills
  • general housekeeping skills

Initially on a 3 month trial with the possibility to full time for the right person.

Salary package based upon experience.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm
